The Regulator Too

Welcome to our strange and wonderful place!

Greetings from Dennis…

on December 24, 2012

dennis It must be that magical time of the year over at Lard Butt’s Lazy No News Site.  Jabba sends Christmas greetings from his family (which basically doesn’t exist) to his readers (who certainly don’t exist)… Meanwhile, Ilse goes on a long winded attack and wide sweeping against almost everything and then wishes a Merry Christmas to all of us godless, baby killing, free spending, race mixing liberal neo-Stalinist no good awful Satan loving liberal bastards.  What a lady! Gosh, all I can say to Ilse is:

“Same to you, honey.”

Thank you Meesh. As always, you found the perfect “card.”

    Merry Christmas Fellow Regulators!

Beautiful KStreet! Merry Christmas to you …and all of my Regulators!!
It looks like we will be getting a white Christmas here,WooHoo!
Have to post one of my favourites, by two of our canucks…Joni Mitchell’s song covered by Sarah McLachlan. I do love this song!

I just might go skating tomorrow! Sidebar, in this song, Joni Mitchell’s Canadian past is reflected upon, she wrote this, presumably in Californian where the climate did not offer her that ice or that chance….just to skate away on.

Right back at all of you fine and noble folks. May everyone of us have a great and happy holiday. I think I will just let Cyndi Lauper sum up how I feel about all of us here at The Regulator (where it can truly be said that we are all just plain nicer than Ilse):

Merry Christmas Oopsies…I meant happy holidays from the raincoast. (We must keep up the “war” on Christmas.)

It’s been and extraordinarily mild winter here. Usually, we have a bit of really cold weather starting about 10 days before Christmas that lasts no longer that the 3rd week of January. But, this year we had a dusting of snow three days ago, that quickly dissipated. Not, that I’m complaining…merely commenting. I have seen enough of the fluffy white stuff in my long life.

Now, excuse me, I have to put on a light sweater and go to the supermarket.

    • Meesh says:

I never get tired of the snow…. Well tomorrow morning scraping off the ice under the snow (on the windshield) might be a different story.

How about you Dennis in Ohio a white Christmas?! It’s really pretty here (so far, that is)…

      • Dennis says:

Here in Central Ohio we have only received a light dusting followed by some rain. However, we are suppose to get hit hard right after Christmas with somewhere around 6 to 8 inches. I have always dreamt of a white Boxing Day.

  6. Monkey Boy says:

I wonder if Jabba is sending a holiday card to the White House this year?

    You can bank on it!

  7. Meesh says:

How cute! Posted especially for FatBoy—-> Eat your heart out!

  8. joeymac says:

Merry Christmas to one and all…especially Tiny Tim.

And, a good night to everyone. I must let my grilled salmon and sweet potato pie digest.

  9. Dennis says:

Yep, it’s back to basics for Lard Butt. His Christmas wish is for justice for Donald Young. Oh yeah, he’s fallen back to that old racket. The bogus t-shirt sells should start up at any moment. Hey, maybe he has just remembered more cell phone calls or something. Please send him money now because he’s out of bogus money orders.

My Christmas Wish: Justice for Donald Young
December 25, 2012 By Lawrence Sinclair

While we enjoy this Christmas day with friends and loved ones, while we remember those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy and those lost in Newtown, CT a little more than a week ago, my wish this Christmas is that a family who has been looking for answers since December 23, 2007 might receive those answers. On December 23, 2007 a man who many to this day have never heard his name, Donald Young, was shot dead in his Chicago home just days before his friend and alleged lover Barack Obama won the 2008 Iowa democratic caucus. Please join me and Sinclair News this Christmas in continuing to call for the Chicago Police Department to start answering questions.

    Thank you & Merry Christmas

    • Dennis says:

I seem to recall that the Chicago Police Department did answer his questions. The answer was a simple “Bullshit!” Then they got tricky and asked for evidence. Like when did Fat Boy ever need any “evidence?”

  10. Meesh says:

There’s a new post —–> HERE Let’s move everything there, K? Thanks Dennis!
