Michelle Obama knocks one out of the park!

The First Lady’s emotional speech on the first night of the Democratic convention gave everyone  just what they wanted: a reason to fall in love with Barack Obama all over again, nearly four years into a presidency that has left him a little battered.

“For Barack, success isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about the difference you make in people’s lives,”

“I have seen firsthand that being president doesn’t change who you are — no, it reveals who you are.”

(CNN) — If Barack Obama is re-elected on November 6, he will owe more to his first lady than any president ever to win a second term.

“She is now a pro. No one since Mrs. Kennedy has worked the camera more astutely or more purposefully to help her husband — the best way is still to be seen as an exemplary first lady. And she looked the part, shimmering in a silky pink sleeveless dress, smiling even more than usual as she spoke of serious things. “- article from the NY Times

Watch the speech for yourself….

Michelle Obama knocked one out of the park at the Democratic National Convention, but also knocked it out of the Twitterverse. The First Lady’s Tuesday night speech about her husband and the Obama family at the Democratic National Convention drove 28,003 tweets-per-minute at its peak, nearly double the 14,289 mark reached by Mitt Romney‘s acceptance speech at the Republican convention last week…..By the end of its first night, the Democratic Convention as a whole had sparked more than 3 million tweets, nearing the 4 million point reached by the entirety of last week’s Republican Convention… So, just what makes for such a viral convention speech? Michelle Obama’s comments about the future and the American dream were particularly popular on the social media site and her rallying cry, “we’ve got so much more to do,” saw a spike of 22,004 Tweets-per-minute. Not one to let his wife soak up all the buzz, President Barack Obama joined in, taking to Twitter from his couch in the White House, (here’s the actual tweet)  sharing a photo of himself and his two daughters — or “Michelle’s biggest fans” — watching the speech.

Now That’s Class!

Michelle Obama’s singular mission last night was to convince Americans that she and the President deeply understand the real challenges facing Americans today, and she aced it.

    Meesh,
You are so cruel. You know how that woman stands between Fat Boy and the object of his desire.

    • kstreet607 says:

I love it Meesh! I am certain that FatAss was seething if he watched her speech at all. If he was in the “room” where she made the speech, it’s amazing that he didn’t yell something derogatory at her. His hate for Michelle overshadows his “alleged” hate for Barack. Great job Meesh…Awesome!

      • Meesh says:

Glad you liked it KStreet, she’s one heck of a woman! And yes, Larry hates up with a passion. I rarely watch US politics on television, I did tune in and watched the commencement of the DNC convention, it was very impressive! I was deeply moved by your First “Lady” and indeed she is! I can almost hear your Prez saying (like JFK): ” I am the man who accompanied Michelle Obama to …., and I have enjoyed it.”

        Eat your heart out FatBoy!

  2. democratista says:

I still can’t stop thinking about that speech. It just was so dynamic and well delivered. I really loved the way she zinged the Republicans without actually mentioning them. Anyone who had a drinking game with how many times she said she loved Barack Obama would be quite drunk….poor Lardy. Barack and Michelle are so in love.

    • kstreet607 says:

…poor Lardy. Barack and Michelle are so in love.

I got sidetracked and walked away from the computer.

Demo, that sentence in and of itself is going to make LardAss explode! LOL

  3. gilligan25 says:

Most of the pundits are saying that Michelle Obama’s speech was the best speech of both conventions so far. I wonder if the Big Dawg can top it–or if he wants to. And tomorrow, we have Barack–Bill and Barack are some of the best speechifiers evah, so I expect soaring oratory.

I can just imagine FatBoy going off his nut because Michelle was just so damn good. I will note that during the film on Michelle, they did show her graduation picture–you know the one: the one Pinhead shot up and faxed to the White House which triggered off a lot of bad juju for him.

Oh, and now that they cancelled the outdoor venue (I’m sure he thought that’s where he could in and get close), poor Fatso can’t get within a mile of the Obamas, or if he tries, he’s going to be wearing a charming pair of handcuffs–none of those tacky zip lock ties for Fatso. The stainless cuffs are top shelf, you know. And after all, he hasn’t been to a correctional institute in North Carolina or a mental health facility in that state (as far as we know).

  4. Dennis says:

I’ve noticed that he seems mostly engaged with posting crap pieces from his time in Tampa. I would have to wonder if he has even tried leaving the trailer park. Possible that some “friendly” folks from the USSS already had a little chat with him about any funny travel plans he might have. You know, just a little chit chat because the USSS also functions as Lardo’s version of the AAA.

    • Meesh says:

      Dennis,

The last post was yesterday morning… he hasn’t tweeted since late yesterday.

Which could translate to the reason:

Hopefully he ran in to some obstacles… My guess, this is why he was so desperate for Ca$H.

      • Dennis says:

Then either Wayne Madsen has coughed up a pass for him or he was banking on the outdoor presentation venue. Either way, the USSS better be on top of their game. Be kind of a treat to watch Fats do the frog march out of the place.

        • Meesh says:

          Dennis,

Do ya think Madsen would have a pass for that? Fatty has old Goofy Wells in Greensboro North Carolina, it’s pretty close to Charlotte NC. According to Google maps it’s one hour and 42 minutes away. Well I am certain that the USSS are also watching old Goofy.

          • Dennis says:

Despite his crappy work, Madsen probably could score a press pass to the DNC. Since he seems to be willing to do almost anything for his Lardo boy, it’s not impossible though might be foolish on his part. But then Madsen does lots of stupid things. BTW, I thought Madsen was hiding out from the Obama hitmen who were supposedly after him? Don’t tell me, he makes this stuff up maybe???

          • tjtaygee says:

Greensboro is ~77 miles away from Charlotte – I used to make that commute back in my college years…had a g/f in Charlotte, too.

        • YankeeClipper says:

Larry’s so freaking out of it he probably hasn’t noticed the two USSS agents tailing his fat ass.

          • Dennis says:

Maybe. Of course he’s the type of nitwit who probably pulled into a rest area and noticed that two young and well dressed men were following him everywhere. Fat Boy just thought he was about to get lucky.

    • Dennis says:

New book? Oh, you mean the new book. Sure. It’s coming. But first he has to sell all of these copies of the old book…you know, the copies that he supposedly sold out of several years ago. As for the new book…there must be some “issues.” Maybe it has been delayed by the Mayan Apocalypse for something like that.

    • Dennis says:

Brilliant!!!! It is better than Citizen friggin’ Kane!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, it is also extremely accurate. So Donate now, you suckers.

  7. democratista says:

Oh God…He’s NOT trying to sell that stupid pamphlet again. Couldn’t be. Were is Bad Poet when you need him….I want to see that booklet video… (cracking up just thinking about it).

  8. A wonderful speech by our lovely First Lady.

  9. Dennis says:

Note to Lawrence Sinclair: Yes, we are making fun of you. The reason is because many people view you as a completely contemptible excuse for a human being. Your original story was a pile of bullshit backed up by nothing (which you basically admit at the end of your first “book”). Since then you have carried on like a basic two-bit grifter fleecing the mentally impaired (note to Parsons: Yes, you are being fleeced – I know, he keeps saying things that fit within your more extreme political, racial, and social views – that is the point, honey. That is how they fleece you.). Basically, you are scum and your “efforts” toward respectability is limited by the fact that you are, well, lousy at it. You are pretty much a two-bit con artist in way over your head and you are floundering in a dark, dank pool with no clue to what you are doing. I think it was better if you stuck to fleecing hotel clerks with the money order scam. You seem to understand that one better.

Conservative Americans Sick of Conservative Hypocrisy Over Akbar’s NBC

    September 6, 2012
    By Lawrence Sinclair

While we all know there are those who are in the “in crowd” on both the liberal and conservative side of politics when it comes to journalist, pundits, bloggers and shills. The DNC has George Soros, Moveon.org, Media Matters, Daily Kos, Democratic Underground, Huffington Post et al… while RNC has Michelle Malkin, Freedom Works, Americans for Prosperity, Red State, Erick Erickson, Tabitha Hale, The Franklin Center, American Crossroads, Sean Hannity et al. Both have a history of attacking the other accusing each of deception, lies, fraud and more. Well it is our belief that both conservatives and liberals alike should be held to the same standard of truth and accountability regardless of who they are or which side of the political arena they have positioned themselves on. Neither Sinclair News nor anyone associated with Sinclair News has ever set out to judge anyone or say that anyone’s past should be what determines their future. We would be the last to ever say that someone’s past mistakes should be used to prevent them from accomplishing good things in the future. No one’s past should ever be used as a means of holding one back or preventing someone from accomplishing anything in their lives. Just as we do not believe ones past should be a dis-qualifier for ones present or future, we also believe that when questions rise out of one’s actions, how they respond to those questions says a lot about ones character at that stage in their lives.

About a week ago Sinclair News published an article announcing we could not continue to be associated with, endorse, promote or support The National Bloggers Club any longer.

Is The National Bloggers Club Real Or A Scam/Front?

An Example of True Bipartisanship in Fight for Integrity

This decision was not based on our learning that NBC President Ali Akbar was on probation out of Texas until May 2012 for Credit-Debit Card Fraud. It was not based on liberal postings directed at Ali Akbar or his friends Stacey McCain and Aaron Walker. We came to our decision first and foremost because Ali Akbar used the National Bloggers Club in an attack against a friend who was involved in a dispute with The Tea Party Tribunes Christine O’Donnell and her effort to steal that friend’s intellectual property for her own personal financial gain. Ali decided he needed to make another friend and secure another sponsor for what is supposed to be BlogBash.org parties which according to recent post on Blog Bash Face Book page has now become Ali Akbar’s Blog Bash Party. To get that new friend and secure yet another financial sponsor for “Ali Akbar’s Blog Bash Party,” Ali decided to publicly support and invite Christine O’Donnell on behalf of the National Bloggers Club. Since we have been a financially supporting member of The National Bloggers Club as well as BlogBash.org and the Breitbart Scholarship Fund (which we will get to in a moment) we took issue with The National Bloggers Club supporting and/or inviting Christine O’Donnell without its membership being consulted first.

Despite our not publishing anything about Ali Akbar’s actions or our decision to break all ties with the NBC until August 28, 2012, Ali for some reason decided to place a call to Sinclair News on August 24, 2012 at 3:21 PM ET (even though we had clearly published the fact we were in Tampa since Thursday August 23, 2012) We still have not made out who the hell Akbar was talking to in the voice message which you can hear here.

Caller ID on Sinclair News phones showing Akbar’s 8-24-12 call

After making our position known Ali began tweeting sarcastic responses to valid questions about the invitations Blog Bash sent out to people while not being sent to National Bloggers Club members other than those who tow the Akbar line.

While we had planned on attending the Blog Bash party on Sunday August 26, 2012 in Tampa as well as the Palladians Her New View Panel which we promoted on our site as well as Through the Mirror with Larry Sinclair radio program, we simply were unable to do so because of being involved in covering other events in Tampa. Despite our not being able to attend either of the events we received phone calls early in the morning on Monday August 27, 2012 informing us that Christine O’Donnell had been invited by Akbar on behalf of The National Bloggers Club. When we tried to ask Akbar about this, in his internet bravado and his Twitter balls of steel (which Ali only has when he hides behind twitter) Ali responded with:

After taking the time from our busy schedule in Tampa to look back at our support, endorsement and promotion of The National Bloggers Club, BlogBash.org and the NBC’s Breitbart Scholarship Fund, we had to move for a complete accounting from NBC and Ali Akbar as to the membership; Board of Director’s and funds raised by all three organizations. We came to this decision and call for accountability after Ali Akbar, by his own actions has caused us to question his character, honesty and intent.

We have not attacked Ali or anyone associated with The National Bloggers Club, but have instead asked for accountability from Akbar and the NBC Board of Directors including Michelle Malkin. We have been called a “liberal hater of Ali Akbar,” but that simply is not the case. Not only have we not attacked Ali Akbar personally, we have a documented history of promoting BlobBash.org, The National Bloggers Club and the Breitbart Scholarship Fund with stories such as those listed below as well as financially.

Malkin To Be On Board Of National Bloggers Club

Sinclair News has never attacked Ali Akbar or anyone associated with him or the organizations he and others have established. In fact we have always taken Ali and his associates at their word, until now that is. Sinclair News believes everyone regardless of where they stand in the political arena be held to the same standard.

When questions arose about Akbar’s claim that the National Bloggers Club was a 501(c) (3) Tax Deductible Charity, Ali decided to simply remove the claim as opposed to answer questions as to why the claim was falsely made to begin with. Akbar even advised Sinclair News not to update the article published on Sinclair News site containing the the untrue claim that the NBC was a 501 (c) (3) tax deductible charity despite Akbar’s removing that claim from its own site.

After we published our August 28, 2012 article announcing we could no longer be associated with the NBC and pointed out that in March the current head of Breitbart.com, Joel Pollak told Sinclair News The Breitbart Scholarship Fund was an unauthorized venture, Akbar or someone associated with the Fund immediately added yet another change to the disclaimer pointing out the Fund was not associated and/or affiliated with Breitbart.com or the Breitbart Estate. This after more than six months of making it appear otherwise. Rather than publicly disclose the NBC Board of Director’s names; and accounting of how much money has been raised by the NBC, Blog Bash or the Breitbart Scholarship Fund; rather than acknowledging no application had ever been filed with the IRS for 501(c) (3) status Akbar simply removes the claim and replaces it with “…The National Bloggers Club is a non-profit organization.”

Even more disturbing than Akbar’s behavior is the behavior of the so called voices of the conservative movement: Stacey McCain (TheOtherMcCain.com); Michelle Malkin; Erick Erickson (RedState.com); Tabitha Hale (The Franklin Center); Freedom Works who Akbar thanks in his FB Notes post following his trip to the RNC Convention; and many more who seem to believe it’s okay to misrepresent yourself and your organization as long as it is a conservative doing it and/or it benefits the conservative cause.

McCain who travelled to Tampa, FL for the RNC with Ali Akbar has demonstrated for us anyway, that his position on integrity and or friendship is easily changed depending on what’s in it for him more than what is truthful and right. After Ali Akbar sent Sinclair News Editor Larry Sinclair a foul mouthed message through a friend rather than walk across the street and tell Sinclair to his face “Fuck off,” it became clear to Sinclair News Akbar is trying to hide something. Those who operate honestly don’t throw temper tantrums at people who question their actions. In reviewing all of our communications with Akbar, Bill Murphy, The National Bloggers Club & Breitbart Scholarship Fund we have determined that Ali Akbar along with anyone else associated with either of these organizations must engage in FULL DISCLOSURE or remove themselves from any position with them.

The following must be disclosed immediately:

In fact the recent actions of Akbar have raised some questions for us as to the ethical standards of NBC and questions concerning the funding of the NBC and BlogBash activities. One very important aspect of the Breitbart legacy which we believe those at Breitbart.com and NBC/BlogBash have ignored, is that Andrew was committed to exposing the truth about both liberals and conservatives who engage in actions which are dishonest and or abuses of power. In that spirit Sinclair News is publicly asking Ali Akbar to immediately publish the following:

The names of every National Bloggers Club Board member including the date each became associated with the NBC

A complete financial report showing the amounts of all monies paid to in contributions; services; or sponsorships made to NBC or BlogBash.

A Complete financial reporting of all funds paid out by NBC or BlogBash including the names of those receiving said payments and the reasons for each.

A complete financial accounting of all funds paid out by NBC/Blogbash including an accounting of what the payments were for and if they were made for the personal benefit of Ali Akbar or any other member of the NBC Board.

A complete accounting of all contributions made to the Breitbart Scholarship Fund as well as an accounting of all disbursements of said funds as well as the name of the financial institution(s) where contributions are on deposit.

A statement as to Bill Murphy’s position with NBC and BlogBash; whether Murphy has been involved in any NBC/BlogBash activities and or promotions since becoming Mitt Romney for President Social Media Director?

The IRS 501(c)(3) documents confirming the below stated claim by NBC:

National Bloggers Club is a new 501(c)(3) founded by top new media operatives, bloggers and journalists as a loose association of bloggers who are for free enterprise and limited government and to advocate on bloggers behalf.

In addition to requesting the above Sinclair News and Lawrence Sinclair has sent a formal request for a complete refund of all funds we have contributed to BlogBash.org; The National Bloggers Club and The NBC’s Breitbart Scholarship Fund.

We have decided to request a refund of the Breitbart Scholarship Fund contribution specifically because we do not believe based on our personal knowledge of Andrew, that Andrew would approve of our supporting any organization which fails to live by Andrews own personal philosophy of holding everyone accountable regardless of political leanings when they lie or engage in dishonest actions.

It didn’t dawn on us until just last week why Ali Akbar reached out to us asking us if we had received the Breitbart t-shirt that the NBC promised to send to anyone who donated $44 or more to the NBC Breitbart Scholarship Fund. In reviewing our emails with NBC staff we noticed that an email from Bill Murphy (Murphy currently works as Social Media Director for the Romney campaign) from March 2012 had stated “your shirt is on its way,” despite the fact it was not even mailed until July 2012 from Virginia via priority mail after Ali asked if we had received it yet. In fact it only became important after Akbar had been called out publicly about the NBC and its activities.

We have decided that the inclusion of all emails between Sinclair news, Lawrence Sinclair, The National Bloggers Club, Joel Pollak, Bill Murphy and Ali Akbar concerning the National Bloggers Club, The Breitbart Scholarship Fund, Blog Bash and the promoting of their events. NOTE: We have redacted the personal cell phone numbers which are contained in the below emails

In the March 22, 2012 email from Bill Murphy, Director of The National Bloggers Club Mr. Murphy states:

    “BTW-your shirts on the way.”

In the March 27, 2012 Murphy/Blog Bash email the first paragraph reads:

“The past few weeks have been jammed packed for the National Bloggers Club! Not only have we begun sending the initial batch of member IDs, we have raised several thousand dollars for the Remember Breitbart Scholarship Fund and are planning a complete website launch in the near future.”

In the March 28, 2012 Murphy email Bill Murphy tells Sinclair News:

“We are in the process of speaking with Breitbart lawyers and hope to move forward with scholarship with their full blessing and assistance.”

So do the above mean that the Breitbart Scholarship Fund was announced and formed without authorization from Breitbart estate as Joel Pollak said in his March 16, 2012 email?

In the March 28, 2012 email from Murphy, Mr. Murphy states as follows:

“The initial cards we sent out were paid for by our sponsors. We wanted to get them to you ASAP to hear your feedback as we work on the National Bloggers Club website and verify system. We hope to have them up soon and begin registering additional bloggers.”

Yet today September 5, 2012 the National Bloggers Club still has not established any website and the verification system still simply takes you to a face book logo which when clicked on takes you to BlogBash.org Face book page.

Despite having held a NBC Membership Credential card since March 2012 (see image below), the NBC has not yet gotten its website or its membership verification page activated. Despite stating “You can verify the authenticity of this card by going to nationalbloggersclub.com/verify and entering the unique ID number found on the opposite side of this card,” going to http://www.nationalbloggersclub.com/verify you get nothing but a Face Book logo page.

Sinclair News has never attacked anyone for their personal beliefs, positions nor have we ever used anyone’s past in passing judgment or dismissing anything they have done. What we have done and will continue to do is call out anyone who promotes a double standard in justifying someone’s hypocrisy or questionable acts. Hearing Michelle Malkin as we write this article telling Sean Hannity that Sandra Fluke has become the standard bearer of the Democratic party is almost comical considering the fact that Ali Akbar according to his August 31, 2012 post, has been a leading voice in conservative/Republican politics since 2008 and yet no one wants to talk about Ali’s criminal conviction or the fact that no one who was asked to donate money to his non-tax exempt organizations were ever told of his being on probation at the time. Or how Michelle Malkin, Erick Erickson, Stacey McCain, et al have no problem talking about someone else’s past from 25 years ago. Or lefty Dave Weigel who when confronted on his partying with Ali Akbar while ignoring the valid questions about Akbar’s fraudulent claims of being a 501(c) (3) Tax Deductible Charity.

Here’s Ali August 31, 2012 post on Face Book that Stacey McCain linked too in a plea for donations to help him & Akbar make it home from Tampa.

My RNC Convention Experience: 2012 Edition

    by Ali A. Akbar on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 10:27pm ·

In 2008 I was a proud member of the Operations team for the Republican National Convention. I was a part of history and I cannot recall an extended trip in which I’ve had more fun. I cried when the balloons came down for John McCain.

This year, I was looking for a new experience, so I went as media. After all, I had too many offsite committments this year to play Agent Akbar.

Let me quickly sum up my experience.

I made a new friend in Karen Floyd, the talented former Chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party, throwing a reception on Saturday evening with the ladies of Her New View and Congresswoman and Platform Committee Chairman Marsha Blackburn. The next day, I was honored to host THE kick-off party to the Convention with Karen when we threw Blog Bash. Many of you know about our legendary Blog Bash parties. Governor Haley Barbour joined as my keynoting guest, along with friends such as Christine O’Donnell, Karen Harrington, Congressman Joe Wilson, Michael Barone, author of Almanac of American Politics, and then the usual suspects: Conservative Action Fund’s Shaun McCutcheon, Robert Stacy McCain, Dana and Chris Loesch, Katie Pavlich, Brandon Darby, Kristina Ribali, Jim Hoft, Javier Manjarres, Lachlan Markay, Bruce Carroll aka GayPatriot, Andrew Langer, Austin James, Amy and Kylie Kremer and a bunch of other friends who deserve much praise for the work they do.

I got to rock to Kid Rock in the VIP section with Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, Freshmen Congresswoman Martha Roby, and their intense security detail. The next night we danced to the vocal intensity of Journey with Chairman Reince Preibus and his wife.

I was honored to honor David Koch, Art Pope and his wife during an event for my friends at Americans for Prosperity. President Tim Phillips is probably one of the most engaging and honorable men running a major group. And I’ve been humbled by his championing of myself, bloggers across this country, and the National Bloggers Club. Much more happened at this event, but why feed the left when I can just have them speculate what I was doing in a private room with these leading champions for economic freedom. Koch!!!

Senator Ron Johnson and John Boozman, Congressman Tom Price, and Governor Bob McDonnell all attended.

There was a lot of excitement surrounding two parties other than Blog Bash, that being the American Conservative Union’s Nuestra Noche party and GOProud’s Homocon 2012. I’ve never seen folks willing to wait in suits and ties outside in the heat for 45 minutes just for a chance to maybe get into this exclusive soiree. My friends at the ACU humbled me with a VIP pass and an opportunity to see friends and network. I probably went between the three floors more than any other person that Monday night. Huge success–best party of Convention.

GOProud was the most fun though. About 30 of my blogging friends–all straight, showed up and we had a mini-blogger’s lounge party upstairs. Tons of fun.

The Republican State Leadership Committee, as always, was far better to me than I deserved. I enjoyed their skybox and party room. This Committee does such good work and is far-too unnoticed. Over these next years, I’ll be working to champion their work more. It’s easy sometimes to overlook elected leadership in the different states and territories, but it’s all too crucial.

I met George Will. Bucket-list check mark worthy for someone like me.

I was there for the first full screening for Hating Breitbart. Everyone must see this movie. October is coming…

New York Times best-selling author Richard Miniter and I had a long discussion on future journalistic efforts. Was a joy to peek in the mind of this skillful wordsmith. And he was equally fascinated about hearing the great #war stories of my friends–bloggers doing God’s work.

I did not enjoy the sweating, the periodic rains which turned the city into a swamp for hours at a time, 50% of the cabbies who were rude–two which sustained classic Ali tongue-lashings, or the logistics which provided untold heck for all attendees.

Devon Wills came. It’s important for me, it always has been, to share memories with friends. Devon and I have known each other for half my lifetime. He’s been an important part of my support team–spiritually and professionally. He was the one who ushered me from point A to point B. He sacrificed time at home to staff me, carry our bags, schedule the cab rides, act as my wing-man, and engage donors/guests when I had to move on to the next. He’s my best friend and I was glad to give this memory to him. Everyone should experience a major Party’s national convention. I was glad Robby Johnston came in 2008. Who knows who will be there in 2016.

And most importantly: I got to be on the floor once again. This coveted section of land where we hopefully nominated the team that will lead the next great American recovery. Although, this time I didn’t cry.

    I want to thank:

The American Conservative Union, Gregg Keller, the awesome Republican State Leadership Committee, Shaun McCutcheon, Karen Floyd, Palladian View, Bill Murphy, Justin Hart, Lauren Luxenburg, Andrew Langer, Bruce Carroll, Chris Faulkner, Austin James, Gov. Haley Barbour, Andrew Marcus, Richard and Vickie Norman, JD Norman, Brian Davis and Scott, Jimmy LaSalvia, Amy and Kylie Kremer, Matt Kibbe, Kristina Ribali, Freedomworks, AFP, George Will, Teresa Oelke, team Romney digital, David Ferguson, Martin Avila, Lyndsey Fifield for helping push Blog Bash, Jason Pye, James O’Keefe, Dana and Chris Loesch for the laughs and stress, Jennifer Knight for bringing the vehicle, Melissa Clouthier whose absence was noted and she was missed, 7th Avenue’s bars and restaurants, United Liberty, Tim Phillips, Art Pope, David Koch, Charles Koch, and the ridiculous protestors. I’m sorry if I left anyone out who rightly deserved praise–I’m sure I did.

Was good seeing Charlie Davis, Erick Erickson, Ashley Bell, the Blaze crew–Mike, Scott, and Benny, Lee Stranahan, Mandy Nagy, Liz, Jackie Curtiss, Bill Cortese, Mark G., Ben S., Jerome Hudson, all the Howe’s, Dave Weigel, Chris Moody, and so many others. Sorry I missed Lawton and Gordon. Damn.

And then my condo-mates: Jennifer Knight, Devon Wills, Robert Stacy McCain, Seton Motley, and Jerri Ann Henry.

If Conservatives mentioned above in Ali’s Face Book Notes post want to continue to engage in hypocrisy that’s their choice, but Sinclair News will call out every single one them for it and continue to expose those on the conservative side who engage in the very same fraud and dishonesty they scream about liberals engaging in.

In the words of the late Andrew Breitbart:

Corruption and dishonesty must be exposed no matter which side it is taking place on, whether liberal or conservative, dishonesty is just that, dishonesty!

Now if AFP, RedState, Erick Erickson, Stacey McCain, Michelle Malkin, Breitbart.com’s current staff, David Koch, Charles Koch, Freedom Works and/or anyone else who claim to represent conservative values and/or are the voice of the Tea Party want to continue to be hypocrites understand we will call you on it every time.

Honesty and Integrity on the part of Sinclair News simply cannot be bought and paid for with money, status, VIP status in exclusive parties or by any other means! Conservative and Liberal America alike are sick of the hypocrisy. If any of the individuals or organizations listed and named above in Akbar’s August 31, 2012 FB posting have any integrity then they will stop protecting and trying to sweep the questions about Ali under the rug and show their integrity by demanding Ali Akbar and those associated with Blog Bash; National Bloggers Club and Breitbart Scholarship Fund immediately produce the requested documentation and accountings. If those named by Akbar wish to be seen as having true integrity they will publicly disassociate themselves and their organizations from Akbar, NBC, BSF and Blog Bash until Akbar & NBCs Board of Directors come clean.

These are not personal attacks on Ali Akbar or Bill Murphy (who by the way Sinclair News has though highly of Murphy) of NBC. Akbar and those who organized the NBC and BSF lied and they have continued to lie about their tax status and the organization from day one.

So will conservatives act with integrity in this matter or will they continue to be seen as hypocrites and enablers to Akbar and others?

Bill Murphy Director of National Bloggers Club & Romney Social Media Director at RNC in Tampa (Photo by Lawrence Sinclair©2012 SinclairNews)

The Romney campaign and Bill Murphy (Left at the RNC in Tampa Aug 30, 2012) must come clean now and answer questions about Murphy’s involvement with NBC and BSF and whether Murphy knowingly put his name on claims that these organizations were 501(c) (3) tax exempt & deductible charities with knowledge that no one had even filed the paperwork seeking 501(c) (3) status much less ever being given such status by the IRS?

In the past few weeks we have seen stories on this issue where it has been reported that Murphy, who currently works as Social Media Director for the Romney campaign, began his employment with the Romney organization sometime in July 2012. Sinclair News spoke with Bill Murphy on his cell phone on June 8, 2012 while at CPAC Chicago where Murphy told Sinclair News “I am working for the Romney campaign now but I will make sure Ali gets in touch with —— right away.” So according to Murphy himself, he has been employed by the Romney campaign since at least June 8, 2012.

It’s time for TRUTH and INTEGRITY to mean something. TRUTH is absolute, TRUTH does not have sides.

Seems to me Ali’s had plenty of time to batten down the hatches, do his IRS paperwork for the NBC, account for the money he has raised, and answer countless other legitimate questions about his “operations.”

As far as I’m concerned, Ali Akbar is a ruthless and arrogant con man. Anyone who enables his arrogance does the cause of conservatism, and conservative new media, great harm.

He has used trusting and hard-working conservative bloggers for his own glorification, and can’t even be bothered to make a web page about the NBC for them in return.

He should be shunned and exiled by the conservative community, and he should be investigated criminally by the appropriate authorities.

Conservatives should never shrug their shoulders and excuse corruption. That’s what liberals to do.

You can quote me, and Mr. Sinclair can too.

In the words of the late Andrew Breitbart:

Corruption and dishonesty must be exposed no matter which side it is taking place on, whether liberal or conservative, dishonesty is just that, dishonesty!

Bottom line, if Ali Akbar and anyone else associated with National Bloggers Club, Breitbart Scholarship Fund continue their refusal of valid requests for disclosure, then none can be taken as having any integrity whatsoever.

Former Leadership Institute operative linked to a convicted felon now works for Romney campaign

  11. Dennis says:

    Meesh,
You beat me to it. Yep, while the news cycle rolls on, Lardo is still stuck in the Ali Akbar groove. Nobody but Fat Boy gives a flying crap but he is going to beat this story senseless and spends several thousands of words ranting and raving over the same thing, over and over again. I have to admit that it is pretty shocking that a convicted felon would be allowed to run a bogus online organization and to raise funds which are then used in ways that are never accounted for…but that’s Lardo. I haven’t a clue about Ali. Who knows, maybe these two will end up being cellmates together.

  12. democratista says:

Did anyone really read all of that? I can’t believe anyone cares about all this stuff and boy oh boy…credit/debit card fraud. Don’t even get me started.

  13. Dennis says:

The best I can figure is that Ding Bat Boy thinks that by tearing into Akbar, he can muscle his way into some kind of major “presence” among the wing nutters. Of course he is doing so by bringing up questions and issues that actually are bound to blow right back at him (after all, he is no stranger to the justice system) and he seems so determined to pick a fight with every other major wing nutter out there that he may be in line for a major ass whooping by his “fellow” conservatives. Except for his ego, there is no real rhyme or reason to this stuff beyond his desperate need for attention. The whole thing would be pretty pathetic if it weren’t such a cheap hoot.

    • tjtaygee says:

The actual reasoning and purpose behind liar-larr’s latest rant is actually quite simple.
The new pamphlet isn’t done. And, in spite of large font, wide spacing, and as many nearly-blank pages as possible, liar-larr still hasn’t copy & pasted enough of his post-first-pamphlet rants to a degree he considers satisfactory for milking the idiots-in-waiting.
that rant above would easily fill 6 pages after he shrinks the margins, and the pics above as someone pointed out will take up a lot of room, too…

  14. kstreet607 says:

Is it just me or has anyone made the connection that FatAss is channeling Breitbart in terms of relentless pursuit? First Christine O’Donnell now Ali Akbar and whoever is next may as well accept the fact that FatBoy is like a a shark, grabbing on to something he sees might be valuable in his reporting and hanging on to it with a vengeance.

When someone says Christmas is coming December 25th, 2012…we do not have to side-guess that…. But you’re right KStreet, he is a shark when it comes to Breitbart. When doing searches alone of all his posts. There are 47 search results for “breitbart” and that’s not counting the tweets and videos etc.. I think he saw his ship sailing in when Breitbart died.

  15. Dennis says:

Odd, isn’t it. Fat Boy briefly meets Breitbart at this convention in Washington and soon afterward Breitbart is dead. Coincidence? Or is this part of the vast Lardo conspiracy?

  16. Dennis says:

Latest snooze from LardoLand: Ilse, the near-sighted she-wolf, disses the entire DNC. Says they were all boring liars and that Michelle was exposed as an insincere hypocrite and all the speakers have driven voters away and blah blah blah…She actually spent most of the week watching Honey Boo Boo while nursing several bottles of Southern Comfort. Meanwhile, Fat Boy’s new book is getting some final touches (like text and stuff). Will be ready before the Mayan Apocalypse, maybe.

    As the stomach turns . . .

    September 7, 2012
    By Thornton Parsons

The sheeple hang on every word

When Barack Obama ran for the presidency four years ago on a platform of big ideas, he told voters he knew that this time around, the campaign seems small, even silly, according to Ben Feller of the Associated Press. ”Trivial things become big distractions. Serious issues become sound bites,” Obama said. “And the truth gets buried under an avalanche of money and advertising.”

Obama urged voters to stick with him even amid stubbornly high unemployment and even though solving many of the nation’s toughest challenges will take a few years. The DNC crowd roused to applause several times during Obama’s speech at the Democratic Convention 2012 in Charlotte; however, he didn’t really say anything. It was all fluff and no substance. This has been the way it has been all week. Speakers would take the stage and stand behind the podium, all speaking pretty words and whipping the crowd to a frenzy, all the while not believing what they were telling the Democratic delegates. Michelle Obama’s speech was a perfect example. Oh yes, she was very complimentary to her husband, however, her delivery left Americans doubting her sincerity.

The Convention’s keynote speaker, San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro said, “Four years ago, America stood on the brink of a depression. Despite incredible odds and united Republican opposition, our president took action. And now we’ve seen 4.5 million new jobs.”

Castro takes a debatable talking point from the Obama campaign — that 4.5 million private-sector jobs have been created since February 2010 (a year after the president’s stimulus bill was passed into law) — and makes it ridiculous, reports Glenn Kessler of the Washington Post.

First, this statistic includes only private-sector jobs, which means the decline in government jobs is simply excluded. Total jobs created in the United States from February 2010 is 4 million — and it is actually still negative if you start counting from the beginning of Obama’s presidency.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job creation in Obama’s entire presidency is minus 300,000 or plus 160,000, depending on whether you date his presidency from January or February.

Second, February 2010 is a cherry-picked month that puts Obama’s job-creation record in the best possible light. The end of the recession, June 2009, would be a more logical date from which to start counting jobs created; that would reduce the total to 3.4 million (for private-sector jobs) or 2.7 million (for all jobs).

Finally, the U.S. population keeps growing, meaning the economy has to keep creating more than 100,000 jobs each month just to keep pace. By that measure, Obama is in a hole no matter when you start counting.

Bill Clinton’s speech contained excuses why Barack Obama has not kept his promises. It was rife with bad jokes and denegration of Republicans. “Now, folks, this is serious, because it gets worse. And you won’t be laughing when I finish telling you this. They also want to block grant Medicaid and cut it by a third over the coming 10 years. Of course, that’s going to really hurt a lot of poor kids. But that’s not all. A lot of folks don’t know it, but nearly two-thirds of Medicaid is spent on nursing home care for Medicare seniors who are eligible for Medicaid,” states Clinton during his speech. Did Clinton tell the truth? His whole speech was rhetoric, but the sheeple were cheering and hanging on his every word. Clinton should be ashamed.

Caroline Kennedy, John Kerry, Joe Biden, Michelle Obama, Sandra Fluke, among the myriad of speakers, proved to be an embarrassment to the Party, and they, too, should be ashamed. It’s one thing to ignore Jerusalem as the true capital of Israel, but to deny God and remove him from the platform is quite another. Of course, Debbie Wasserman Schultz rationalized that this omission was accidental. I don’t believe that for a minute. I do believe that it came directly from Barack Hussein Obama. John Kennedy would be ashamed. Even I’m surprised at how the Party has sunk so low.

Meanwhile, he is ruthlessly bugging various people in order to tell them that he is not bugging them despite his continual harassment of them on various web sites (where he repeatedly states that he is not harassing anyone and anybody who says otherwise will get the same treatment).

Akbar Responds After Criminal Complaint Was Filed

    September 7, 2012
    By Lawrence Sinclair

    Updated September 8, 2012 @2:17AM ET

We discovered that in or original complaint filed with the FBI Cyber Crimes Unit we incorrectly listed the address for Ali Akbar & the National Bloggers Club as being in Houston, Texas instead of Fort Worth, TX. The below is an updated Supplement which we have filed with the IC3 Complaint Center:

    Supplemental Information

————————- Date:09/07/2012 16:30:30 ——————– On Friday September 7, 2012 at 3:05 PM I received the following email from Ali Akbar in reply to our email notifying Mr. Akbar that we had filed a criminal complaint with IC3. 1. Your refunds are being processed through the third-party applications by which you paid. 2. Please be aware that presenting your VOID National Bloggers Club ID is unethical and in some states may be against the law. 3. You may return the shirt and the ID. We appreciate the offer. 4. Do NOT contact me further. This is my message to you so that I am staying compliant with laws surrounding harassment. Any contact beyond this point will be considered as such. This also applies to all Officers, employees and volunteers of the Club. 5. Have a blessed day. 6. Publishing private conversations is against the law. I already have several people willing to testify that you have breached this more than once and you have published off the record conversations. Unlawful activity like this can result in a suit. You’re fortunate I go out of my way not to sue people. Best, Ali

————————- Date:09/08/2012 02:14:48 ——————– Correction of Address for Ali Akbar. The address of for Ali Akbar and National Bloggers Club Inc. is 8116 Heritage Place Drive, Fort Worth, Texas not Houston, Texas as we mistakenly noted in the original filing.

It’s a sad day when you have to file a criminal complaint with the Internet Crimes Center before some one decides to respond to a request for a refund of money contributed to an organization which (in our opinion) intentionally misrepresented itself as being a tax deductible charity. Again we want to make clear that contrary to claims by Akbar that we are somehow involved in a “jihad against me,” this has never been personal against Akbar. It has however been about holding Mr. Akbar and all those associated with and serving on the Board of Directors of the National Bloggers Club to the same standards which Akbar and Director’s Michelle Malkin demand of others.

What Sinclair News has done is ask Mr. Akbar to answer some questions that he should have had no reservations about answering if he didn’t believe he had done anything wrong. While Akbar continues with the assistance of Stacey McCain, Michelle Malkin, Erick Erickson, AFP, Freedom Works, et al to respond to valid questions by twitter posts of petty name calling and crying that there is a “jihad” against him, and saying “I’ll help clear some soon,” many conservatives and liberals alike would like him to simply answer the direct questions which have be presented.

In Conservative Americans Sick of Conservative Hypocrisy Over Akbar’s NBC Sinclair News publish the email sent to Akbar a formal request for a complete refund of all funds we contributed to his National Bloggers Club; Breitbart Scholarship Fund and Blog Bash. We even sent the story to Akbar via a Twitter post to Stacey McCain’s tweet announcing he and Ali were having beers in NC at the DNC convention while discussing “twitter stalkers.”

It was interesting to Sinclair News that Stacey McCain and Ali Akbar had just published a request for financial assistance to make it home from the RNC in Tampa on August 31, 2012 claiming to be stranded

Ali and I left Tampa about 6 p.m., and everything seemed fine until the car started making a horrible noise and losing power. We stopped and had a mechanic look at it, but the garage was about to close — 7 p.m. on the Friday before Labor Day — and there was no time for a repair. The mechanic diagnosed a problem either with the timing belt or the valves.

    ….

Can we drive it 900 miles with this problem? The mechanic shrugged. Sometimes, it’s OK. Sometimes, it’s not.

We’ve so far made it about 100 miles, but the psychological strain on top of the exhaustion — as I said to Ali, “Woodward and Bernstein didn’t have to deal with this kind of crap.” Neither, for that matter, do my close personal friends Brett Baier and Megyn Kelly, but never mind . . .

you can read entire sad song at Fear and Loathing in a 2004 KIA Optima complete with a link to Ali Akbar’s Ali describes his GOP convention experience.

just days later they are having beers in Charlotte, NC at the DNC.

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina Ali Akbar and I drove all night to get here, and the worst part of the drive was passing through the mountains on I-77 at 4 a.m. when the fog was so thick you couldn’t see 10 feet in front of the car. We pulled into a garage in downtown Charlotte at 7 a.m. and had to wait three hours until the media credentials office opened.

Of course, Ali is not a Neutral Objective Journalist like me, so it’s possible that he is prejudiced, but indeed we seem to be a long way from the Hope-mania that pervaded Denver in 2008.

So much for the neutral and objective journalist claim by McCain, simply put, if McCain was anything close to neutral or objective he would have been asking Akbar to answer the questions rather than assisting Akbar in his efforts to avoid having to answer them. Sorry Stacey, but you have made your bias and efforts to shield Akbar crystal clear and any claim of being neutral or a journalist just died right along with your 2004 KIA Optima, but wait, the KIA lives another day to get you and Ali down to Charlotte.

We also found Ali’s twitter posting about paying $30 for lunch at the DNC interesting considering the desperate plea for money to get him & McCain home and after bragging about dancing with RNC Chairman Reince Preibus and his wife.

Since Akbar decided to act as if our email requesting a complete refund was not important enough to respond to we decided to send Akbar the following today. (for those who are not familiar with Ali, he doesn’t let a single email received go more than 3 minutes without being read)

Yesterday we discussed the issue of conservatives actions only serving to hurt Romney’s chances of defeating Obama by engaging in the protecting of someone who really does need to answer some questions. Listen to our discussing this very issue yesterday on the Radio program:

The email sent to Akbar was not a bluff, we did in fact file the complaint with the Cyber Crimes Complaint Center of the FBI and the National White Collar Crimes unit also known as IC3. The complaint is attached below in its complete PDF form (with only the phone number we have from Mr. Akbar redacted) all other information contained in the complaint is a matter of public record. See PDF File HERE

To have Akbar respond with the following brought us to the conclusion that Akbar continues to look for a scape goat to take the heat off of him and to hopefully get away with what we are now convinced was not an oversight, but was a deliberate and planned act from the beginning. That is the opinion we have come to based on Akbar’s own actions and responses/excuses. But the below is ridiculous and is a direct carbon copy of how Christine O’Donnell staffers responded when they were called out over their dishonest actions in O’Donnell’s Troublemaker.Fest which Akbar injected himself in and by doing so only brought more attention to the questions about his tax deductible charity claims.

It is important to note that contrary to the implied claims by Akbar that we have ever presented our “VOID National Bloggers Club ID” would be comical if it weren’t so ridiculous. After all, as we proved in our August 28, 2012 article, Is The National Bloggers Club Real Or A Scam/Front? National Bloggers Club still has not activated any means of verification of any NBC IDs which were issued.

As to Ali’s claims that we or I have on more than one occasion published so called “private conversations and/or published off the record conversations,” we have notified Mr. Akbar “If you make these allegations then be prepared to back them up.”

    Mr. Akbar:

Thank you for your reply. Please be advised the below email from you was added in its entirety as an update or “supplemental” information to our Cyber Crimes Complaint filed this date.

While we certainly will respect your request of not contacting you in the future, we have no choice but to reply to this email in order to obtain an address where the Breitbart shirt and the cut-in-half Natl Bloggers Club ID are to be mailed to. We would also let you know the shirt has never been worn, simply hung on the wall. Unless we hear from you regarding the address we will ship the items to the Heritage Place Dr. address in Texas on Monday.

In addition since you speak for any Officers, employees and volunteers of the Club perhaps you would be so kind as to provide us with a complete listing of these individuals so we will know who we can or cannot communicate with?

As for your statements #6 below, please be advised that there is nothing private about any communications which have transpired between Sinclair News and National Bloggers Club, Blog Bash or Breitbart Scholarship fund. If you make these allegations then be prepared to back them up.

Upon receipt of the address you would like the shirt and cut up ID mailed to we will ship them out immediately. You seem to have decided to make this personal which you are free to do if this is what you choose to do. Understand that we will continue to report the facts and demand answers to valid questions concerning these organizations.

Character and Integrity cannot be bought nor can it be given to you by any group or political action committee. You either have it or you don’t and your actions in the past weeks leads us to believe you do not have character or integrity.

Again Thank You for your time and we are sorry you seem to think your actions being called into question is somehow a “jihad” against you.

Rather than simply answer the questions and disclose the requested information in order to resolve this matter once and for all; rather than answer these questions to prevent innocent people and/or campaigns from being unfairly connected to events they had nothing to do with; rather than answer the questions to lead by example and demonstrate Akbar is a man of integrity and character; Ali continues to attack others, accuse others of victimizing him in some left wing conspiracy that is not only completely false, but it only serves to give the appearance that Akbar is guilty of wrong doing and that is not going to help anyone he is associated with or he he alleges he is involved with.

The time has come for Conservative groups, journalist, bloggers and pundits to demonstrate they are not like liberals (they accuse of having no morals & integrity) and show some integrity and character and call on their own to simply disclose the information requested. If you have nothing to hide, if you have done nothing wrong, then you should not have a problem with simply answering questions openly and honestly and stop claiming everyone is attacking.

This issue is not going to go away, the fact that Akbar notified us this afternoon our contributions are being refunded is not going to change our complaint filed this afternoon. Nor is Akbar’s attempts to threaten us for reporting the facts going to stop us from continuing to seek and demand answer in this matter.

It’s hilarious how FatAss pontificates about Akbar’s “wrong doings” and speaks of morals and integrity when that POS possesses NONE of those characteristics. It’s only a matter of time before Sinclair trips up and reveals his true self to those he “hangs out” with.

Sinclair has criminal records that would make his accusations to Christine O”Donnell and this guy Ali Akbar look like two cherubs.

He has a nasty, pushy attitude. He uses the “LSNews” banner to harrass and annoy people. For some reason he has this delusion of grandeur about himself. That over-inflated ego is going to be his downfall and that’s whemn someone will accuse him of FRAUD and deceit and mis-representation about who and what he is. I don’t need to stick around that long though. If Barack Hussein Obama is elected to a second term, my journey through the gritty and grimy world of Larry “Grifter” Sinclair will be done!

I cannot get over how FatAss touches the “exact” same points that he is accusing Ali Akbar of (Sickliar did all of these things just recently). Car troubles and suggests that Akbar is trying to gain sympathy from this, possible donations. Not enough money to get home… Remember this POS?!

“We made the trip to Washington, DC driving all night with full knowledge and warning from our Auto Mechanic that we could very well blow the engine in our car. Not only was that a very real possibility, it appears that very thing happened just as we arrived this morning. Do we regret making the decision to take that chance, NO. Was/is it worth it to us to maybe have to return to Florida by bus and car-less for a while, YES. This is no longer about ‘what is comfortable’; this is no longer about ‘can we afford it’; this is no longer about ‘whats it going to cost me’; this is about doing whatever it takes to save a once Great Nation and make it GREAT again. No apologies, No regrets.”

Oh yea, then Sickliar points out, by displaying a picture of Akbar’s $30 dinner – states he had money to have beers as well. FatAss posted 800 pictures of the RNC convention, he had several pictures of dishes that he had… shrimp dishes, steak…there’s drinks in front of him as well etc. and then a couple of days later he posts this plea…

“SinclairNews Will Go Black On 9-5-12 Without $280.00

        September 3, 2012
        By Lawrence Sinclair”

Heh Sickliar did ALL of this, he beat Ali to it. “The pot calling the kettle black” he is guilty of the very thing of which he accuses Akbar of. What a slimy POS he is.
