Obama’s Young Love Life NOT According To Larry Sinclair

on May 5, 2012

Despite the permanent caption above, Sinclair and his surrogates tried to imply that this picture portrayed how they looked during the alleged “Limo Affair”.

One has to wonder what the new revelation about Barack Obama’s love life before Michelle tell us about the man who Larry Sinclair described quite differently based on a tawdry, unsubstantiated story of a one-night homosexual “affair” in a limousine no less!   (That hotel visit – the alleged second encounter – that Sinclair mentions is so full of  holes that it’s purely laughable.)

My question is this:  Will this new biography about Obama in his twenties substantiate or repudiate Sinclair’s nasty, disgusting story  lie about Barack Obama?

The Week

Vanity Fair has publishedexcerpts from Barack Obama: The Story, a forthcoming biography of the president by David Maraniss that focuses on two of Obama’s former flames from his days as a student and young graduate in New York City. Obama dated Alex McNear for a brief period in 1982, and Genevieve Cook from December 1983 to May 1985, and Maraniss had access to Obama’s letters to McNear and, perhaps most revealingly, to Cook’s diary. The previously unseen documents show Obama wrestling with the issues of identity that would later be addressed in his memoir, Dreams From My Father. They also offer Cook’s intimate impressions of Obama before he became the public figure we know today. Here, seven takeaways:

1. Obama really struggled with his identity
His years in New York, beginning at Columbia University in 1981, represent “the most existential stretch of his life,” says Maraniss. McNear remembers Obama as being obsessed with issues stemming from his race, his upbringing overseas, and his fractured family. In one letter to McNear in 1982, ostensibly about T.S. Eliot’s poem “The Waste Land,” Obama appears to search for a political philosophy he can hold on to, saying, “Remember how I said there’s a certain kind of conservatism which I respect more than bourgeois liberalism — Eliot is of the type.”

2. He was often quite distant
In a diary entry from January 26, 1984, Cook writes, “How is he so old already, at the age of 22? I have to recognize… that I find histhereness very threatening… Distance, distance, distance, and wariness.” In another from February 25 of the same year: “The sexual warmth is definitely there — but the rest of it has sharp edges and I’m finding it all unsettling and finding myself wanting to withdraw from it all. His warmth can be deceptive. Tho he speaks sweet words and can be open and trusting, there is also that coolness — and I begin to have an inkling of some things about him that could get to me.”

3. He didn’t tell Cook he loved her
“When she told him that she loved him,” says Maraniss, “his response was not ‘I love you, too’ but ‘thank you’ — as though he appreciated that someone loved him.” And yet it was the “deepest romantic relationship of his young life,” one which he would explore later in his memoir, though he didn’t identify Cook by name. Obama tells Maraniss that the woman described in Dreams From My Father is a “compression” of girlfriends, including Cook.

4. Cook thought Obama was scarred
In a diary entry dated May 23, 1985, shortly after the couple broke up, Cook writes that Obama’s distance might reflect a deeper, “emotional scarring that will make it difficult for him to get involved even after he’s sorted his life through with age and experience.” She concedes that he had never been infatuated with her, and that perhaps a “lithe, bubbly, strong black lady is waiting somewhere” for him.

5. Obama did the crossword in a sarong
“On Sundays Obama would lounge around, drinking coffee and solving The New York Times crossword puzzle, bare-chested, wearing a blue and white sarong,” says Maraniss. Cook also reveals that the young Obama’s choice of deodorant was Brut.

6. Obama was a regular at the famous Seinfeld restaurant
Obama and his friends often “walked to the corner of Broadway and 112th to eat at Tom’s restaurant, the place immortalized later as the fictional Monk’s, a familiar meeting place for the characters on Seinfeld,” says Maraniss.

7. The print edition of Vanity Fair has Cook’s picture
The online version of the story does not feature a photograph of Cook. For that, you’ll have to purchase Vanity Fair‘s June issue.

How will Lardo deal with these revelations? Lies. It’s all lies. Besdies, it’s just some woman who is obviously part of the conspiracy. She stole her story from him. The book never happened. It’s just your word against his. You too are part of the vast conspiracy. What was that about him wearing nothing but a sarong…oh baby!!!!!!!! That bit is appearing in One Man Has a Stand.

LOL Dennis! Of course it will go completely over LardAss’ head that MEN WEAR SARONGS IN HAWAII and Indonesia where Obama was raised.

      • Dennis says:

Heck, not only will that go over Lardo’s head but the thought of Obama in a sarong will have him pounding away on something other than news copy. LardButt may not be available for “reporting” for the next couple of days.

Meanwhile Thirsty Person is busy explaining the French election to the simple folks. Gee, she is telling the French that Socialism doesn’t work…Actually, I have a funny feeling (based upon her largely half-baked news piece) that she hasn’t a clue to the extremely complex and down right generally socialist nature of French politics. Heck, by our standards, even the conservatives are socialists over there. But don’t tell Parsons. She’s too busy talking down to the French (which always works with them).

Lardo is still too “busy” to “say” anything. When the wide load is rocking, don’t come knocking…

Florence these people are LTFAO at you.

Also is it true you are living with an elderly widow in #6?

    Hi Larry!

    • Dennis says:

You forget, the magic brain tumor was magically healed down in Mexico (after his ten years or more fight to survive). His suicide attempt never happened. Micro penis? Nah, it just fell off all by itself….

  5. Dennis says:

Don’t you just love the way the media takes it clues from right wing sources. On Saturday Obama does a campaign kick off at the Value City Arena here in town. By the estimate of the local newspaper (a pretty conservative rag) they had 14,000 people (in a space that holds 20,000). But a photo taken before the event showing lots of empty seats (in the nosebleed section and having been up there, trust me it is nosebleed), makes the round of all of the news reports. Liberal media, my butt. They are only liberal with the facts.

North Carolina Republicans Go Birther: Certificate Is A ‘Poorly Reproduced Forgery’

By Alex Seitz-Wald on May 7, 2012 at 9:56 am

North Carolina is apparently ground zero of the latest resurgence of the birther movement, as a number of Republican candidates in the state are expressing doubts about President Obama’s birthplace.

  7. Dennis says:

In the past 24 hours, the only “news” items on Lardo’s site has been a poorly written tribute to Sarkozy and a promotional piece on Elvis impersonators…What the hell are those idiots doing over there? A pack of 12 year-olds could do better. I think it is time for LardAss to go back to WV and do an investigative piece on mental health care in the state.

  8. Dennis says:

Wait a minute! Hot off the press!! Lardo’s exciting in depth report about a local nut (Prince Mongo) and his fight against the housing codes in Port Orange. It’s a long winded, hard hitting, fact finding…oh for cryin’ out loud its a total waste of space!!!! The fat stupid asshole is making Katie Couric look like Edward R. Murrow. What next, the latest “scoop” on pooper scooper laws in Florida?

    • kstreet67 says:

Dennis how can you stand going over there reading that drivel? Yuck! I appreciate the updates…their entertaining and as relayed by you, funny as hell! But isn’t “the crazy” catching? LOL!

      • Dennis says:

The crazy would be catching if that tub of Lardo ever did anything. All I am trying to do is get a bit of outrage stoked up about the lying weasel and all I am getting is something that reads like the minutes to a really low rent version of the Rotary Club. I’ve got some pent up aggressions I need to unload and my rolly polly punching bag has gone flat. Oh woe is me….

Meanwhile, Mitt Romney is still begging me for money. Shouldn’t this be the other way around?

Police Debunk Theories Linking Breitbart, L.A. Coroner Tech Deaths

    May 9, 2012 4:45 AM EDT

Police don’t yet know what killed L.A. autopsy technician Michael Cormier, but they tell Maria Elena Fernandez and Christine Pelisek that despite blogosphere conspiracy theorists, it had no connection to Andrew Breitbart’s death.

  12. Dennis says:

OK, I don’t really have much time to spend today trolling the dank backwaters of Lardo’s swamp, but finally Thirsty Person in her newest blog has shown her colors – all brown shirts for the beer hall putsch. The guy she is praising in her posting was indicted in 1942 for refusing to provide material to Congress; his organization (the Constitutional Educational League) was rounded up during the war because it was being financed by the Axis Powers (you know, those guys defeated by Indiana Jones); her claim that members of the American Communist Party was training folks in Moscow is a hoot (The Soviets operated on a one-way-street system – Stalin wasn’t taking any advise from anyone, especially an American); Joseph McCarthy was a drunken drug-addicted nitwit with a loud mouth and no brains. Considering that this is the post-Cold War era, shouldn’t these folks move into the 21st Century for a change.

Obama declares support for gay marriage

President Obama today announced that he now supports same-sex marriage, reversing his longstanding opposition amid growing pressure from the Democratic base and even his own vice president.

Check it out, follks. He framed it just the way I knew he would when he FINALLY said something. God Bless Joe Biden…..who started the conversation.

    • YankeeClipper says:

I don’t have a problem with the President’s timing of his announcement, Demo. I’m laughing hysterically at Log Cabin Republicans though; they’ve denounced him for switching positions the day after NC voters voted marriage down…”he’s being callous.” I guess they forgot which NC political party sponsored the bill in the first place.

    • kstreet607 says:

Finally, Demo! He was actually between a rock and a hard place after Joe Biden spoke about gay marriage and how he advocates it. Some of our President’s biggest “small” donors are from the LBGT community. He was worried about some southern swing states but I’m sure he realized his donors in the LGBT arena are much more important than a bunch of haters who weren’t going to vote for him anyway!!!

News Alert: Obama Tells ABC News Same-Sex Marriage Should Be Legal

Obama Tells ABC News Same-Sex Marriage Should Be Legal

President Obama declared for the first time on Wednesday that he supports same-sex marriage, putting the moral power of his presidency behind a social issue that continues to divide the country.

“At a certain point,” Mr. Obama said in an interview in the Cabinet Room at the White House with ABC’s Robin Roberts, “I’ve just concluded that for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married.”

The comments end years of public equivocating over the divisive social issue for the president, who has previously said he opposed gay marriage but repeatedly said he was “evolving” on the issue because of contact with friends and others who are gay.

I was happy he finally took a stand. It seemed like he really wanted to say something, but he just couldn’t spit it out. I think it was particularly great that he did it after that awful vote in North Carolina.

    • Dennis says:

Please. Children with retardation (an outmoded term) could do better. LardButt has a web site that suffers from: 1. No brains 2. Lots of nitwits like Parsons who thinks they know everything but actually know nothing 3. No brains 4. A blind graphic web designer 4. No brains 5. A pack of wing nutters hoping that someone in power will give them free money 6. No brains 7. A stupid fat lying bastard who expects people to give him money for no other reason than because he is use to people giving him money 8. No brains 9. Did I mention the no brains part? 10. Parsons is an ex-school teacher who thinks she knows what she is doing but is actually a neo-Nazi pump butt with no brains 11. Did I mention the no brains part? You got it.

Did I mention that Jeff Rense is a mindless horn dog with an odd amount of money and property stashed away who basically wallows in conspiracy theories only because it brings him the few pathetic listeners that he can muster? That is between his many marriages and weird personal ads for hot babes?

  21. YankeeClipper says:

Today, I was asked a direct question and gave a direct answer:

I believe that same-sex couples should be allowed to marry.

I hope you’ll take a moment to watch the conversation, consider it, and weigh in yourself on behalf of marriage equality:

I’ve always believed that gay and lesbian Americans should be treated fairly and equally. I was reluctant to use the term marriage because of the very powerful traditions it evokes. And I thought civil union laws that conferred legal rights upon gay and lesbian couples were a solution.

But over the course of several years I’ve talked to friends and family about this. I’ve thought about members of my staff in long-term, committed, same-sex relationships who are raising kids together. Through our efforts to end the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, I’ve gotten to know some of the gay and lesbian troops who are serving our country with honor and distinction.

What I’ve come to realize is that for loving, same-sex couples, the denial of marriage equality means that, in their eyes and the eyes of their children, they are still considered less than full citizens.

Even at my own dinner table, when I look at Sasha and Malia, who have friends whose parents are same-sex couples, I know it wouldn’t dawn on them that their friends’ parents should be treated differently.

So I decided it was time to affirm my personal belief that same-sex couples should be allowed to marry.

I respect the beliefs of others, and the right of religious institutions to act in accordance with their own doctrines. But I believe that in the eyes of the law, all Americans should be treated equally. And where states enact same-sex marriage, no federal act should invalidate them.

If you agree, you can stand up with me here.

    Thank you,

Well what do you know, it went through this time. Hey everybody!

(I was the first to say “Hallelujah Obama” today, but it didn’t show up)

Been busy – will be back to old form in a few weeks or so.

  23. testes one two three –

If this goes through, kstreet, can you see if two others I posted today are still hanging around somewhere?

    • Many thanks, kstreet, assuming you did that. (I wouldn’t think they suddenly appeared on their own.)

BTW, what a masterful move on Obama’s part. I have no doubts it will be a net gain for him. And it will restore some of the enthusiasm among the “hope and change” complainers.

I love the idea of Mittens having to explain, for the remainder of the campaign, why he’s a mean spirited homophobe or convince America he’s not. The more he’s talking about that, the less he will be talking about the economy.
